David is the Chief Manager of our Firm. He started his accounting career in 1985 as an intern with the Firm. He graduated from Memphis State University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting, becoming a full time employee for the Firm. As a general services member, David provides accounting and auditing services for various industries including construction, distribution and manufacturing. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is active in volunteer organizations including various soccer organizations.
Jimmy graduated from Harding University in 1986, with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, majoring in accounting. Prior to joining the Firm in 1987, he was employed by a large privately-held corporation. As a member of the Firm, he provides audit and accounting services to a variety of industries including not-for-profit, manufacturing and employee benefit plans. He also oversees the Firm’s peer review and internal inspection programs. Jimmy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is active in volunteer organizations, currently servicing as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of AGAPE Child and Family Services, Inc.
Cindy is the Managing Member of our West Memphis office. She graduated from Arkansas State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and began work at Dodge, Thomas, Goss & Owens in 1992. She has extensive experience in audit and accounting services for governmental and non-profit entities, as well as the distribution industry. Cindy is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Arkansas Society of CPAs. She is also an active volunteer in the Rotary Club of West Memphis.
Mark is a 1991 University of Dayton accounting graduate, a CPA since 1997 and with JHA since 2010. He serves a wide range of both business and individual clients providing tax preparation, planning and consulting services. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, Mark’s community involvement has included East Memphis Rotary, the Partnership for the Homeless and Junior Achievement.
Karen graduated from Belhaven College in 1979 with a double major in accounting and business administration. Karen is a graduate of the Leadership Memphis 2013 Executive Program. A CPA since 1980, she’s also a Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Government Financial Manager, and has been awarded the American Institute of CPAs Advanced Single Audit Badge. She’s a member of a number of professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and both the Tennessee and Arkansas societies of CPAs. Karen recently served a three-year term on the board of directors of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants and is currently a Council Representative of the Memphis Chapter of the Tennessee Society of CPAs.
Holly C. Brewer
Holly is an Audit Manager for Jackson, Howell & Associates. She graduated from the University of Mississippi, and has been a CPA for more than 26 years. She has extensive experience in audit and accounting services for a variety of industries as well as non-profit entities. Holly is a member of the AICPA and the TSCPA. She is also involved with the community, volunteering for various organizations and church activities.
Linda Christian is the office manager for Jackson, Howell & Associates. She's been with the Firm since 1980, handling day-to-day duties such as payroll, accounts payable & receivable, billing, collections & human resources.
